Do I pay per person?

Family is one flat price for the whole household — from $20/month (Starter) or $50/month (Advanced), up to 6 people, never per person. Business is one flat workspace price — $50/month for Small Business or $100/month with the agent orchestrator. Enterprise is an annual per-seat license arranged with sales.

What exactly is a credit?

Credits pay for AI usage on the metered API, priced per model and per direction (input vs output tokens). A typical chat turn costs about 30–300 credits. Family includes 10,000 credits a month (Advanced 40,000), pooled across the household; Business includes 20,000–50,000, pooled per workspace.

What happens when my credits run out?

The request pauses before it starts — you’ll see roughly what it needs and your remaining balance, with a top-up button and the option to switch to one of your own connected subscriptions. Business workspaces can opt in to auto-recharge with a visible threshold and hard cap. We never cut off an answer mid-stream and never charge without consent.

Can Family users connect their own AI keys or subscriptions?

No. The Family plan is designed to be simple and non-technical. Family members use the AI access and monthly credits included with PrivateForge.

Which plans support BYOK or BYOA?

BYOK/BYOA is available for Business and Enterprise accounts where supported. Family does not include BYOK or BYOA.

Why does Family not have BYOK/BYOA?

Most families do not want to manage API keys, AI provider accounts, billing limits, or technical setup. Family is built to be simple: one plan, included credits, and easy controls.

What’s the difference between Business and Enterprise?

Business is self-serve: per-seat pricing, included credits, workspaces, roles, analytics, and an audit log — right-sized for small businesses and teams. Enterprise adds what regulated organizations require: inference on your own provider keys only (no metering), SSO/SAML with SCIM provisioning, audit export to your SIEM, data-residency controls, and model allow-lists — on an annual contract.
